Marissa Pyron Rico is a Mexican singer, actor, and musician. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. She received her B.M. in Vocal Performance with a Minor in Musical Theater from SMU. Before starting her professional career in NYC, she was a member of the American Theatre Wing’s Springboard Musical Theater program.
She has been writing songs and playing the piano & guitar since she was 8 years old. Growing up, she was in several different rock bands and learned to love the art of collaboration. She also grew up performing in community plays and musicals, which is where she discovered her love for musical theater.
Outside of performing, Marissa runs her own private personal training business, Marissa Pyron LLC. She spends her free time doting on her rescue dog, Dizzy, playing video games, and eating her weight in carbs.
